At GW Add-ons, we take the privacy and security of our users' data seriously.
The Google Workspace add-on runs in your Google Account and does not store, share or upload your data anywhere.
No data is transferred or stored to any system outside of your Google Account. Your information will never be sold, shared, or leased.
The provided add-ons are third-party integration for Google Workspace products and not provided by Google nor sponsored or affiliated with Google.

We will only collect data from you with your explicit permission and will limit this to the bare minimum required for the add-on to function.
Your data, including emails, will not be accessed or reviewed by any human. Technical support may require you to share your add-on settings with the developer.

To use the app, you will need to sign in with your Google account. You may optionally share your email address with us, which will be kept strictly confidential. This information is used for user licensing, payment receipts, and product updates.
We partner with trusted third-party payment processors (PayPal) to handle billing. Your credit card information is not stored or accessible to us.
This Add-on's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Understanding Smart Mail Merge Permissions
When you install Smart Mail Merge Add-on, you'll be asked to grant the app specific permissions to access your Google account. These permissions are essential for the app to function correctly.

Access to Gmail
Access to Gmail Drafts and Aliases: The add-on requires access to your Gmail drafts to use them as email templates and to your email aliases for sending emails.
Send Emails: The add-on needs the ability to send emails from your Gmail account, including using email aliases.
Access to Google Drive
The add-on can access your Google Drive to add files as email attachments or upload files to your Drive for attachment. No files will be deleted.
Access to Google Docs
The add-on requires access to your Google Docs to access the template and create merged documents.
Access to Google Sheets
The add-on requires access to your Google Sheets to read and write mail merge data and settings. No sheets will be deleted
External Connections and Functionality
Payment Verification: The add-on connects to external payment processors to verify subscriptions and activate the product.
Background Tasks: The add-on can run tasks in the background, such as scheduled emails, even when your computer is off.
Add-on Interface: The add-on displays a user interface within Google Sheets to manage mail merge settings.

AI Assist for Gemini™ in Sheets™ and Docs™ Add-on
When you use the AI Assist for Gemini™ in Sheets™ and Docs™ add-on, we do not store or use any of your data without your permission. Granting us access to your data does not allow us to access it offline.
We only access the data necessary to perform the functions of the add-on and do not use it for any other purposes.
Your data which you select in Google Sheet is sent to Gemini AI API as input prompts using your API Key to get an intelligent Gen AI response based on it. It is not accessed by any third party and always remains on Google servers.
We will never share your data with third parties .
This Add-on's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

View and manage documents that this application has been installed in. This permission is required to read inputs from your selected document and write the result in your document.
Connect to an external service:This scope is to request data from Gemini AI API.
Display and run third-party web content in prompts and sidebars inside Google applications. This permission is required to display a sidebar in your Google Sheet or Docs.

Merge Labels Add-on
When you use the Merge Labels add-on, we do not store or use any of your data without your permission. We only access the data necessary to perform the functions of the add-on and do not use it for any other purposes. We will never share your data with third parties or use it for any marketing or advertising purposes.
This Add-on's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
The add-on however requires the following permissions for it to operate:
View and manage your sheets in Google Drive. This permission is required to read from your selected sheet so that in can generate labels based on data in your sheet. The add-on will NOT create or delete any spreadsheet files from your drive. Please note that the data in your sheet is NOT stored or shared with anyone for analysis or marketing.
View and manage your documents in Google Drive. This permission is required to be able to read the label you designed in your Google Document template. This permission is also required to create new documents with the merged labels.
View and manage the files in your Google Drive. This permission is required to create Google documents which will contain the merged labels. These files will be created in your Google Drive root.
View and manage data associated with the application. This permission is required to save data related to the add-on. For example it will save the label's width, height , page size and spacing.

View and manage your current sheet in Google Drive. This permission is required to convert your active spreadsheet to the requested format. The add-on will NOT create or delete any spreadsheet files from your drive. Please note that the data in your sheet is NOT stored or shared with anyone for analysis or marketing.
View and manage your current document in Google Drive. This permission is required to convert your active document to the requested format.
View and manage your current presentation in Google Drive. This permission is required to convert your active presentation to the requested format.
View and manage the files in your Google Drive. This permission is required to create the converted file. These files will be created in your Google Drive root or the selected folder.
